My Scholarship entry - "South-Sudanese Immigration"

Australia | Thursday, October 23, 2014 | 3 photos

Hi there World Nomad Association and Jason,

I’d best describe myself as a daring, charismatic and quirky young lady, a person who seeks wellbeing and happiness through a diverse lifestyle.
I'm very determined to do, see, discover, venture and find. My main interests lie in the art scene, specifically Photography. Landscape Design is also something I value and wish to study and the need to travel.

I’m Currently studying at Newcastle Art College (TAFE), where I am completing a Fine Art Diploma. I gained experience in the field of documentary photography, when I was selected to take part in a project (“SevenSeven”) for Newcastle museum in 2013. That involved seven Novocastrians shooting topics of choice locally. To which I choose “South-Sudanese Immigration”, explored the social justice topic and venture into the intimate lives, of a beautiful group of people, learning of new traditions and ways of life unaccustomed to me.

Though I do not deserve this opportunity any more so then someone else might, I know that given the chance I would make the absolute most of the twelve days and thus continue my photographic journey further.
