    'what if everyone just sat down, all at once? wouldn't that be weird? what would it take to get everyone to just spontaneously sit down?' at this point i engaged in an argument with him, pointing out that the time it would take for everyone to catch on would be too long - the people who did it first to set it off would have to stand up because their bottoms would get too cold. he wouldn't have a bar of it, but nonetheless i was the only one he could get to sit.
