It's the spring semester of my junior year, so I am celebrating with un gran viaje filled with classes (unfortunately) and crazy foreign fun.

My million adventures in Africa!

Camels! Our camel farmers spoke 4-6 languages each (!!), but the camels didn't speak any. Views[66] Cuddle time. Views[67] Layla and me. Layla means Riding around on our camels, which are actually pretty comfortable! Views[81] Action shot: the dismount. But not as scary as it looks! Views[58]

Signs in French and Arabic at Chellah because Morocco is a crazily multi-lingual country. And pretty much everyone in Rabat speaks these two languages, minimum. Views[60] I kept getting mixed up which was Roman rubble and which was Muslim, but this has got to be at least one of the two! Views[53] Large Roman rolling pins? Views[49] Definitely Muslim. Climbing around the ruins, I found a pretty view! Random Moroccan countryside, as seen from Chellah. Views[65] Cats, chickens, and Moroccan woman, all hanging out at the eel fertility pool. Obviously. Throw eggs to the eels and you'll have many children! Views[65] So that's where babies come from! There was a huge number of storks at Chellah, but I guess it makes sense that they'd chill by the fertility pool in their free time, right? Views[70] Non-Muslims aren't allowed in mosques, but this one's quite pretty on the outside. The king had it built, I believe. Views[63] Meanwhile, back in the day, another king was having the biggest mosque in the world built, but he died, and it didn't happen. All they got done were the pillars and the big tower, which is apparently an unfinished replica of one in Seville, Spain. Views[72]
