Argentina´s FALL season is in full swing and the trees are losing their leaves
As the cooler weather is approaching Córdoba, Argentina, the people here wanted to take advantage of one last nice weekend. It was actually a holiday weekend because Monday, May 25, was a patriotic day celebrating a won battle fought with Spain to gain their independence. So on Monday, Roly invited me and also called a friend of his, Fernando, his wife Laura, and their son Max, to join us for a BBQ (Asado). It was definitely fall weather so we had to wear light jackets and we had to leave the picnic area a little early because of the threat of rain clouds rolling in.
Very pretty picture, Doreen! Looks like you're really enjoying being back in Argentina. Hope you're enjoying teaching your students...I know I've really enjoyed being in a classroom teaching so far! It's challenging but very rewarding. Hope all is well!
