This beggar woman approached me when I was on the rocky hill just above the Hampi bazar. She asked if I would take her photo but I think she thought that I might give her a few rupees for the privilege. I did give her a few rupees, she touched me in some way because she seemed so pathetic, probably because we talked a little.
