Stockholm, Sweden

Hi All,

Sweden! Didn't expect to be here on this trip but it turned out to be cheaper to fly to Stockholm and catch the ferry to Helsinki than to fly direct. Suits me.

So we have a day and a half in Stockholm and our first day was a blue sky day. Super. It looked when we were landing that the fields were full of sand but as we got closer it turned out to be frost. The temperature was -2 deg C.

The bus had a  2 for 1 special so our trip cost 50 swedish crn or about 10 euro for both of us for a 100km trip. Yes another remote airport so we arrived and by the time we checked into the hotel the light was already starting to fade.

We were glad we had our new coats as the temperature dropped even further in the evening at was -7 deg C last time I checked. We enjoyed out wander to the old town and even found an outdoor ice skating rink with plenty of skaters.

It is a lovely looking town.

Fingers crossed for another good day tomorrow.

Bye,

David and Vanessa
