Due to non availability of the pier, only option to get on to the boat is to wait near the lake. The lake submerged road hence boat is the only option to move out of the village for work, study or hospital.

Tired on the long journey. Locals of the affected villages are bound to use boats, the only mode of transport to their villages which is unsafe and cold over the lake.

A student going back home from school over the remains of submerged building. The blockage of flow of river due to landslide submerged 5 villages in the region including houses, hospitals, schools and hotels which also blocked road access.
