We are taking Hwy 1 south down California's coastline and it is incredible!The highway hugs the waterline and at some stages is only metres from the huge cliffs which drop off to the waters edge!
The road winds so tightly that we were lucky to drive more than 25 miles per hour... Slow but amazing!
We saw everything, great coastline, amazing national parks, beautiful mountain ranges, wild elephant seal populations and Hearst Castle just to top things off... Here are the inspiring photos that we managed to get... Nature is stunning!
