Desiccated monkey

Yesterday, I saw a desiccated monkey lying on top of a mysterious pile roots, bark and leaves – the shop of a local herbalist layed out on a blanket in front of the post office. There were a dozen or so blankets offering grubby organic wares, but only 1 had a dried monkey. I wonder what ailment it’s meant to cure… Thoughts anybody?
