Guadalajara Cactus Ciudad

he main aim of this journal is to share this Mexican experience with others, but also to keep track of how wonderful this all is! In just 5 months: 30th January to 30th June 2008, I hope I will gather many lively experiences and manage to capture them in

Universidad de Guadalajara CUCEI

The library: many books of all sorts, technical but also a few novels (amongst which many famous French authors: Beaudelaire, Vernes, Zola; but I went in there asking for a Spanish novel and they got me out Coelho!). A computing area which is impossible to get to as it is always full, and clean toilets (you still have to bring your own paper and soap but at least there’s water in there regularly!).
You have to scan your card in order to get in: I have seen students cue all the way to the “monument” (given to the school by Belgium!).
