My thoughts about . . .

Sleeping student

One afternoon last week a male student stretched out during the 10 minute break and fell asleep.  I didn't bother to wake him up when the lesson resumed.  I was so impressed. Imagine a row of airline seats with arm rests that don't lift up and the tray tops all down.  Now, imagine those same seats made of wood.  That is a pretty accurate description of the desks in the classrooms.  Well, maybe there is more room between the desks and seats in the classrooms than the tray tops and seats on a plane.  In any case, relatively tight and very uncomfortable.  A student was actually lying down across 2 or 3 seats with his body under the arm rests!  If he managed to get into that position then he deserved the nap!
