My thoughts about . . .

Midnight train to . . .Wuhan

The overnight train from Beijing to Wuhan was incredible.  I have never seen such a clean train. Each car had 4 beds each with its pristine sheets, 2 fluffy pillows and a down comforter. Then there was a flat screen TV at the foot of each bed with clean new headphones! The lace curtain, the hot water boiler for tea, the vase with a flower on the tableclothed ledge were icing on the cake.

For sure that train was cleaner than many hotels I have stayed in over the years.

I slept soundly that night and went to bed thinking---if this is communism, sign me up:-)

So, can you exchange your hotel room for a permanent birth on the night train?
