Once packaged, Veronica travels one hour to the neighbouring village of San Marcos La Laguna to sell her bread. Here she sells daily to the tourists in a bid to earn enough to make it from one day to the next.

The final process in the kitchen is to package the bread in a form that is both cost effective and appealing for tourists.

Days are spent gazing into the distance hoping for enough sales each day so Veronica can support her family. Leaving an education behind at the age of ten to work in tourism, her well-being and that of her family rely solely on the tourists taste for freshly baked bread.
