Wat Arun Ratchawararam.

Wat Arun Ratchawararam.

The breakfast thing seemed to work out, because this morning when I caught the squatter dancing in the foyer she scurried out back to bring me some food.  Now that's service!

Breakfast: bowl of rice with vegetables and prawns.  The prawns were whole... right down to the whiskers.  I was afraid I'd choke and spit a prawn head out on the floor, so after the first one I decided to shell the others.  I hid the shell, legs, whiskers, etc under my surplus rice (there was a LOT of food). They asked if I wanted coffee. Does a fish need water?  It went really well with the sticky rice for dessert.

I had my free Temple Tour today... got three temples bagged by 10am.  A new record? Met a hilarious Singaporean Chinese couple on the tour.  Decided to hang around with them and we had a great time. They just couldn't take anything seriously.  Got a picture of the Reclining Buddha's rear.  The Singaporeans called it the Sleeping Buddha and kept making snoring noises all the way through the temple.

Spot of shopping this afternoon... bought a nice belt (pants demanded it), and a huge coffee with as much sugar, caramel and cream in it as I could handle (that'll teach those pants to demand a belt). Any excuse for air conditioning - it's rather warm today.  And it just rained.

And so it ends.  Night markets tonight - a few beers - and big air conditioned shopping centres tomorrow - and a few more beers.
