bus from airport to aucland central bpers
arrived in auckland went for stroll very civilised compared to cook islands
went to playhouse pub, and general stroll around, in the evening went to sky tower went up to top but no bungying down..good views
second day checked poste restante mail, got mozzy net from al, will try not to fight over it.
wasted half a day trying to unsuccesfully down load some work!
spent rest of day trying to book campervans v. tough finnaly got one thr9ugh freedom campers ...soon became apparent why
next day after some final faffing around with worlk set off to pick up van...said goodbye to auckland
van certainly not at the cutting edge of vehicle design but we got it for a reasnoable rate so didnt mind....until we tried to drive off from the rental place and found the battery completley flat that is. "must have been the engineer leaveing lights on in morning" ...hmmmm
off we set for piha, only a short drive we thought from aucland to eas me into driving on the left again :)
