Just turned twenty-five and realized I have so much to see. I Looked into an around the world ticket... hoping to leave in August 2007.

New Zealand, what a place!!! Auckland reminded me a lot of Vancouver.. similar shops and close to the water. Right away when we checked into the Fat Camel we met two of our apt mates, Joe and Matt.... sweetest 18 year olds from North of London travelling pre Uni. I wish I was that brave when I was 18. I took a bunch of pics of em for azie... so cute. we stayed in a flat w/ 4 rooms... 4-8 bunks per room. J and I were w/a canadian that resembles a lumber jack, murrie, and a nice quiet s/am girl that barely talked. we spent 3 days there and ended up getting along really well w/the two youngins and a sweet couple from london Nephi and Jessi. We ended up going to see rugby, which i now love. watched Joe jump off a tower, i won in a hostel poker game (30 bucks) and booked a stray tour.... no idea what we were getting into. We had so many choices w/how to tour the two main islands that make up NZ. We could have rented a camper van, booked a tour, rented a car, etc. There were three tours to choose from; kiwi, which caters to the party crowd, magic, which we knew not too much about and still dont, and Stray, which caters to the people who want to see the road less travelled.... so far such a great choice!
