Not too eager to step out to be at the mercy of the blazing sun but keen to revive my days in Rajasthan, I visited the Red Fort in Old Delhi. The number of people visiting the Mughal fort is simply overwhelming. Do they not suffer from the summer heat? Ooph!
Cursing and kicking my decision to visit the fort in spite of Ish’s persistent warnings, I put up a brave front and walked into the one of the best - kept forts in India. The army deserves all the plaudits for the forts upkeep. The fort is uniform in colour as many cities in Rajasthan and uniformity have always pleased me and thus the fort had me asking me for more. Asking for more at the Red Fort is one of seven sins, greed.
Nearly four hours later I waved good - bye to the fort bustling with life and went back to Rakesh’s place, as the simile states, perspiring as a pig. Honestly, I have never seen a pig sweat. Do they?
