The World Through My Eyes Travel is more than the seeing of sights; it is a change that goes on, deep and permanent, in the ideas of living.

So at long last I'm heading off to South America, the first stop on my list is the Cidade Maravilhosa-otherwise known as Rio de Janeiro! Follow me as I navigate my way around this world famous city and then afterwards as i take in the more tranquil settings of Ouro Preto and Tiradentes. No trip to Brazil would be complete without spending some lazy days lounging on the beach, soaking up some rays and taking to the pristine waters of Buzios, Arraial do cabo, Ilha Grande, Paraty and Trindade. After weeks of chilling out it will be time for me to hit the urban city of Sao Paulo and catch up with my little porco aranha Pedro! That will be me pretty much done with Brazil for this trip, so next on the list is a hop on over to Bolivia!

Starting in the city of Sucre a UNESCO World Heritage Site, I'll then travel down towards Tupiza - for those of you who may be fans of Westerns, this was where part of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid was filmed (a bit of history for you there!) From here I intend to take a tour of the famous Salar de Uyuni, the biggest salt flat in the world! Travelling up through the country and also altitude, my next stop will be La Paz - the highest capital city in the world! I'll spend a few days here exploring before I venture over Lake Titicaca and on to my next stop, Peru. The Inca heartland!

Once in Peru my compass is set to Arequipa which is famously referred to as the White City. After spending a few days here the plan is to head up towards the Colca Canyon. This Canyon is more than two times deeper than the Grand Canyon in the USA, so it's big! Heading further up, my next stop is Cusco, the Sacred Valley and surrounding areas and of course the gem of Peru - Machu Picchu. After wandering around the ruins i'll then make my way down to Lima, the capital and it's surrounding areas.

That will be South America done, then on to North America! A couple of days in the Big Apple, catching up with friends, taking in the sights and being met by my two lovely sisters will be the perfect end to my trip.

Now don't forget to follow me to see what i'm up to and i'll try to keep up with the blogs!

Tchau!
