The Long & Winding Road

Last day in Chiang Mai

THAILAND | Monday, 3 November 2008 | Views [106]

Today we had a couple hours left on out scooter rental so we shot across the river to the Riverside Cafe for our last meal in Chiang Mai. I got a Papaya and Orange smoothie and Pinapple fried rice which was the best lunch ever.  We returned our scooters, chilled out for a bit and then grabbed a tuk tuk to the airport to catch our flight to Phuket.  We've booked tonight at the Boost Guesthouse on Karon Beach so hopefully it's cool.  I can't wait to swim at the beach.  I've been in Thailand for 2 weeks and have only seen cities, temples and jungle.  Not that I'm complaining!  Hopefully there will be a little bit of surf so we can rent some boards tomorrow!
